DESCRIPTION:Ochre Fest is an annual celebration of Newfoundland and Labrador books\, music\, art\, food and culture. \nOriginally called The Festival at Ochre Pit Cove\, it was founded in 2013 by Rebecca Rose (Breakwater Books) and Lisa Porter (Ochre House Retreat) as a way to share their love of books with friends and visitors in the Baccalieu Trail region. We started with books in mind\, but have grown to encompass all manner of cultural treats – storytelling\, music\, visual art and culinary delights. Our anchor venue is Ochre House Retreat in beautiful Ochre Pit Cove\, Conception Bay.
